Bright Star Lighting Products introduces Responder™ Right-angle rechargable flashlight
2006-04-20 — (Hanover Township), PA - Officials of Bright Star Lighting Products have announced the availability of its Responder™ Right Angle (RA) Rechargeable flashlight. A complement to the Responder RA alkaline model, the rechargeable version is the brightest, longest running, Class I, Division 1 safety-rated flashlight on the market. The Responder RA rechargeable will be featured at the Bright Star booth (#1124) throughout the FDIC Show April 14-16.

The Responder RA Rechargeable flashlight delivers a pre-focused, 60,000 candlepower beam of light through the company's unique wide-eye unbreakable lens. In addition to the primary bulb, the light comes equipped with two integrated back-up bulbs that can quickly and easily replace the primary bulb when necessary.
A rechargeable Ni-Cad battery pack powers the Responder RA Rechargeable for two continuous hours. "Should firefighters find themselves needing light for an extended period of time, the flashlight can provide an additional five hours of light by replacing the spent rechargeable battery pack with four C-cell alkaline batteries," Malcolm adds. "The Responder's interchangeable power supply is yet another feature that makes the flashlight a natural choice for firefighters."
Available with an Underwriters Laboratories Class I, Division 1 or Class I, Division 2 safety approval, the Responder RA Rechargeable can be carried comfortably in the hand, worn on a shoulder strap or clipped to a belt or pocket using the durable stainless steel clip. Adding to the convenience of operating the light is its oversized pushbutton switch that can be easily operated even with a heavily gloved hand.
The Responder RA Rechargeable is built to survive the rigorous demands of firefighting, in addition to the industry standard for toughness - the 30 ft. drop test. Measuring 7 inches and weighing 16 ounces, the light is available in yellow, orange or black. It retails for $45-65 and is available at distributors nationwide.
